Dates: The 2026/27 round closed on 15 January 2026 (2 p.m. Central European Time). The 2027/28 round is not confirmed yet. The last round opened on 14 November 2025.
China's government scholarship, which often goes through your own government first and then the China Scholarship Council.
Dates: Timing depends on your country. In Kenya's 2026/27 round, the Ministry's deadline was 28 November 2025 and a required test (CSCA) was in December 2025 and January 2026. We have not confirmed Tanzania's dates.
The Korean government's full scholarship for undergraduate study, with an embassy route and a university route.
Dates: 2027 intake: the embassy track opened on 15 September 2026. The university track runs through November, with a different deadline at each university. Results are scheduled for 7 January 2027. We have not confirmed the deadline in Tanzania.

Dates: Each partner university sets its own deadline. Check the partner you want to apply to.
The Turkish government's scholarship for international students, with a single online application round each year.
Dates: The 2026 round ran from 10 January to 20 February 2026. The 2027 round has not been announced yet.
Tanzania's government loan board for students admitted to higher education, which gives loans you repay after you finish.
Dates: The 2026/27 window opened on 19 June 2026 and ran for at least two months. We have not confirmed the exact closing date. The 2027/28 window has not been announced.
Japan's fully funded undergraduate scholarship, applied for through the Embassy of Japan in Dar es Salaam.
Dates: The 2027 round for Tanzania closed on 21 May 2026. The next round has not been announced. Rounds usually open in April or May, so check from March 2027.
